The Reception

We have two very different options for your reception - The Barn and The Hay Shed.

Get together with friends and family and style it yourself to add a personal and unique touch, or we can suggest wedding stylists who can do it all, so there's less stress, and more time to enjoy it.

Monkey Place Catering are our exclusive caterers and The Bar are our exclusive bar staff. Please see our Food and Drinks page for details.

A wedding at Adams Peak Country Estate is priced as a package. Please see our Availability Calendar for dates. If the weekend you want isn’t available, perhaps considering a midweek wedding.

The Barn is the perfect place for your rustic reception. Although it is rustic, it can be dressed to suit any theme, which allows you to create a style and look individual to your taste. Some would go for minimalistic and keep the rustic charm, and others will decorate till their hearts content, to ensure they get the look they desire.

Sit down receptions in The Barn up to 120 guests, cocktail receptions up to 160. We can accommodate larger numbers in The Hay Shed.

There is a covered deck that can be used as a chill out area, whiskey bar for later in the night or additional seating if the guest list grows. There are also 2 ladies and 2 men’s toilets located inside The Barn, and also a purpose-built rustic bar area.

The Hay Shed was originally built as a wet weather ceremony area, but now couples are loving it as an option for their reception space in the warmer months.

A modern version of an old favourite, The Hay Shed is a huge undercover area with spectacular views across to Yellow Rock Escarpment and the Brokenback Ranges. It can take up to 160 for a seated reception and 180 for a cocktail reception.

Many couples are choosing to have the predinner drinks here, so they can utilise all the spaces available.

The Water Shed is the newest addition to the property. It is a rustic bar and toilet block to compliment The Hay Shed.
